Read More...There are a number of local ferry services along the Côte d'Azur connecting the costal towns and ports, the various islands and Corsica.
SNCM (Société Nationale Maritime Corse Méditerranée) has a fleet of car ferries and NGV (Navire à Grande Vitesse), the sea going equivalent of the TGV. Principle destination is Corsica, with regular services throughout the year sailing from Marseille, Toulon and Nice to Bastia and Ajaccio.
Corsica Ferries provides a car ferry service and connects Nice and Toulon to Corsica with a regular year-round service. Online booking in English is possible.
Vedettes Iles d'Or et le Corsaire runs a regular service between St-Tropez, the coastal towns of Le Lavandou, Le Londe and Cavalaire and the Iles d'Or (Porquerolles, Port Cros and Le Levant).
TLV and TVM connect Hyères with the Iles d'Or (Porquerolles, Port Cros and Le Levant). Ferries depart from the Gare Maritime at the Tour Fondue in Hyères.
The Bateaux Verts provides a regular shuttle service connecting St-Tropez with Ste-Maxime, Port-Grimaud, the Cogolin marina, Les Issambres and St-Aygulf.
Bateaux Verts also provide fishing excursions and sight-seeing trips to the islands off the Riviera coast.
Les Bateaux de Saint Raphaël run trips around the French Riviera leaving from St-Raphaël, Fréjus, Agay and St-Aygulf. Full details on the website.
Horizon runs a regular service between Cannes and the Îles des Lérins (Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat).
Trans Côte d'Azur run seasonal cruising trips from Cannes and Nice to Monaco, St-Tropez and various tourist destinations.
