It's dark, it's cold - it's the perfect time of year to sneak into the cosy darkness of a cinema and get carried away by thrills, ideas, tears or laughter to another world. Nothing can take the place of watching a film on the big screen, in the hushed darkness of a movie theatre. That's why AngloINFO brings you a complete guide to all the locally-available films in English.

Title, time and place

Each week, the AngloINFO English-Language Cinema INFOrmation Page lists the VO (version originale) English-language films showing throughout the French Riviera and Monaco.

Find what you want to see, where or when by clicking on the name of the town that interests you, or selecting a movie title or day of the week from the drop-down menus. And you don't just get what's showing in the large towns, but also those inland villages that often get "toured" by a single print of a VO movie over a week or two.

Each movie's title is actually a hyperlink, taking you to essential information provided by The Internet Movie Database, so you can find out more about the movie, it's stars, and read reviews from the world's top critics.

The AngloINFO English-Language Cinema INFOrmation page is updated every Wednesday morning - if your town or village's cinema appears not to be listed it just means there's nothing on this week; maybe there will be next week!
