Movin' Up, Movin' Out

Many people choose to move to France for the lifestyle and have no intention of leaving. However, some may find the love affair ends, or personal circumstances change, and it's time to move out. Others are moved here by a company and can expect further relocation, while some are simply looking to experience a few years of life in France.

Selling, cancelling, packing

Whatever your personal situation, if you find it's time to go, be aware that there are almost as many things to take care of when leaving the country as there are on arrival. See the AngloINFO INFOrmation Pages on Leaving France & Moving On in the Riviera and Moving House in Monaco for some useful reminders of things that must be done.

There's a likelihood that you'll need a removals firm, so check out the category in The AngloFILE business and service directory that covers English-speaking Removals & Transport.

And you're bound to have many bits and pieces you don't want or need to take with you. You can always try to make something back on these by advertising them for free in the
Bring & Buy (Or Sell...) section of The AngloINFO Forum, part of AngloINFO's free classified ads. Or for extra impact and the chance to include pictures, you can take out a Commercial Classified advertisement.
