I've successfully purchased my first ebook from ebooks.com which I've downloaded onto my computer (windows7) after installing Adobe Digital Editions, but now have no idea how to transfer it to my Kobo, and it doesn't say how to do this in the instruction manual. Any advice welcome, please :)

would recommend you download calibre as a library management programme, it s very user friendly & can convert material from one format to another to enable you to read any type of e book on your Kobo. Once your device is connected to your computer you just highlight your book & click the device button on the tool bar & off it goes

Thanks, eurokiné. Have downloaded Calibre, and thought I'd finally copied the book onto the device only to be informed it's digital protected. I could have read the book from cover to cover in the time I've spent struggling to set up and sort this Kobo out - a "Cadeau empoisonnée" as far as I'm concerned which I'm about to throw out the window, or sell on AI.:(
