Can anyone tell me when the beach restaurants and bars in Nice open up? The weather has been lovely and none of them were open last time I went past. Thanks!

I was always under the impression they opened around Easter, so should be soon (probably in time for the kids Easter break).

A couple were open last week but many were completely destroyed in last november's storms,so they are just starting to clean,paint etc.Castel Plage(at the end of the beach by the old town)has only recently had the go ahead to re-build.I suppose they want to be sure that the weather is going to be good before they 'kit'it all out again!As Louise mentioned,you'll prob see more activity around Easter,weather pending.Roll on Summer!!
