Is it possible to buy a pay-as-you-go sim card for UK whilst in France?

I have one that you can have for the value of the credit it currently has on it (about £10). It's a UK Vodacom card which I got about 2 weeks ago and no longer need.
Alternatively you could borrow it if needed only for a short period.
