Recommendations for haircut in Antibes?

Hi,

I am in desperate need of a haircut which I have been putting off since I got here due to 'fear of a new hairdresser' syndrome.

Can anyone recommend a hairdresser in Antibes who is not extortionately priced (I disagree with paying through the nose for what normally equates to just a trim for me!) and ideally who speaks English. No one too crazy- I don't want them suggesting that I try the latest mullet or anything like that!

Alternatively, if there are any hairdressers looking for a bit of outside hours work, I would be happy to consider the possibility of somebody who could come to my house.

Thanks

I through a bad experience feel the same way you do about hairdressers. I used to fly back to Toni and Guy in the Uk to get my hair cut then one day decided to put my trust in a salon who had been coluring my hair for 2 years in Juan Les Pins. I thought by now they would know exactly how I liked my hair cut and always asked why I didn't trust them. My french is not good but had always managed to let them know what I wanted and was always pleased with the colour.

A big mistake, I lost about 4 inches off the length of my hair and am still trying to get the length back. Why don't they ever listen to the client? When you tell them only the minimum off the length why do they do this?

I was almost thinking about doing an apprenticeship myself as there seems to be alot of people down here looking for a decent hairdresser.

Good luck!!!
